Dream To Fly

Since the beginning of time, mankind
has had the dream to fly.
To climb high above the trees into the deep blue skies.
To hover and gaze across the countryside.
Beyond the vast mountain tops to the oceans tides.
Far, far above the ground to have a chance to touch a star.
To dare to see the unknown and witness the secrets it may withhold.
To peer into the wide open spaces and view this planets ever changing faces.
To experience the beauty of a natural wonder.
Is it just a dream to fly?
Perhaps we are destined to hope and ponder.
